Cathleen Smythe

Mrs. Cathleen Smythe teaches middle school Bible, History, and Math. She believes that children learn differently, therefore many of her lessons utilize manipulatives and graphics to illustrate a variety of subject matters. She also believes that “every child can learn”— the challenge is to discover what motivates a student to learn. Her teaching skill was honed as a home schooling mom for twelve years. She is married to Scott, and they have five children. Mrs. Smythe has attended Wellington Presbyterian Church since 1985 and credits WPC for presenting the gospel clearly that she might receive Christ as her personal savior.
