Florida Director Credential
Mrs. Marie Broome has been with WCS since 2005. Her current position is teaching three-year-olds in Early Childhood and she thoroughly enjoys working with them. "They are entertaining, loveable, and quite bright! These little people are full of surprises and bring many learning challenges as well as rewards to our preschool day."
Mrs. Broome has a CDS (Child Development Specialist Certification) issued by the Florida Department of Labor, a CDA (Child Development Associate Certification), and a Florida Foundational Level Director's Credential. She has held a director's position for two years, but her heart is in the preschool classroom. "The many hugs and kisses from my happy group of youngsters sweetens my day. The responsibility to nurture and teach young children basic skills and to encourage their natural curiosity about the world and God is not one I take lightly. It is encouraging to watch them develop socially and physically. It is a delight to observe them as they discover their God-given creative nature."
Mrs. Broome has been blessed with a beautiful family life that includes her husband Bill, two precious daughters, Angela and Julianna, and a granddaughter, Grace. She has lived in Florida for many years, most of those years in Naples.
"Working with young children is a heartfelt occupation for me. Wellington Christian School continues to be a source of growth and learning both professionally and spiritually. I give all the glory to our Lord who has blessed me to be a part of the exceptional staff and administration of WCS."
