Matthew Winters

Mr. Matthew Winters is a certified Athletic Administrator serving WCS since 1999. He is the Athletic Administrator of the school’s program. Sports at WCS begin with an intramural program at the first grade level and extend through high school with a full interscholastic varsity program.

Matthew holds a B.S. in Physical Education and a B.A. in Religion from Liberty University. He has four Florida Department of Education certifications in Health, Physical Education, and Mathematics. He is a recipent of the Coach of the Year honors from both the Miami Herald and the Sun-Sentinel.

As a means of relaxation and exercise, Matthew officiates soccer matches. He has had the honors of being selected to officiate in five FHSAA State Finals. Mr. Winters is married to his wonderful wife, Laura. His three children are Gabriella, Noah and Luke. Mr. Winters is a deacon at Horizon Baptist Church where he and his wife serve in the kids' programs.
